Swine Flu – what to do

With the swine flu ‘ramping up’ across all shores the panic is now starting due to supposedly healthy people dying!

Think you are at risk?  What can you do?

First things first, you want to know that all sugars you have (from oranges to cakes, biscuits, chocolates and alcohol) knock out your white blood cells – your white cells are what ‘clean’ your environment, without them active, your blood gets seriously messy and congested, making it a great haven for any germ or virus to take a foothold.

So keep your white blood cells awake, by consuming alkaline foods and drinks!

Second, go get yourself an oil burner and some ‘authentic essential oils’ – Body Shop and other synthetic cheap oils dont count.  You want to get oils like Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Geranium, Sandalwood, Rosewood etc. Most oils are anti viral.  So burn 2 or 3 oils in an oil burner by filling it with water and adding a few drops. The airborne particles land on your skin and you breathe them in, strengthening your immune system.

It is well known that the witches and healers from the time of the Black/Bubonic plague in the mid 14th century lived through it because of there aromatherapy potions.

You could also get a tissue and sprinkle some lavender or lemon oil on it, and take it with you on the tube/bus or where you are around people a lot – sniff the tissue often.

Body oil – use aromatherapy body oils so they absorb straight into your blood stream

These are just a couple of important notes, and although the aromatherapy may sound a bit odd, it really works

**note, lavender is a sedative, lemon and citrus are ‘uppers’ as is eucalyptus.  Lavender and Rosewood is a nice homely smell

Duty of Care

It has recently come to light, that there are many ‘alkalising products’ on the market that are contra-indicated, or can have an adverse reaction with your health.

The most common out of the current alkalising regime are greens powders, clay and salt.

Why is that?

Well firstly, alkalising is not for everyone.  A base level of alkalising is good for most people, and then others, can go a bit deeper with it.  Currently, you read a book, take the supplements with a ’suck it and see approach’.   And if you are lucky, it will work, but if not, it can bring about a lot of aches and pains, and desperate fatigue – this is different from ‘detox symptoms’ and can last some time.

Salt, is the most important of the three that can have an adverse reaction. Whilst the body needs a little salt each day, just going forth and drinking the dosage on the container is usually not the best way forward. You actually need to know, that your body needs this resource first.

Things happen when you take too much salt – like heart palpitations (from mild to severe), dizziness, increased thirst, increased urination or not enough urination, bloatedness, extra stomach gass and extreme pain.  There are more, but these are just a start.

Salt is also contr-indicated with medication, and severe health challenges.

With the clay - this can bind your gut so that you become constipated, it can also have a quick withdrawal on any medication that you may be taking making you feel nauseas, headachy and unwell.  Clay is contra-indicated with medication.

Greens powder, while good for initial alkalising, are also contra-indicated with your health – greens are not for everyone.   Experience shows us that there are other ways to alkalise if these products do not suit you – greens are contra-indicated with any form of medication.

The thing is, where do you get your products from?  Who tells you how you can use them, that would be best for you?

Everyone has a metabolic blueprint, and no two persons are the same. This is why, some products will work for you, and some will not.  If you want to use products that are ‘contra-indicated’ then you should really talk to a professional, who is a product expert who can tell you the benefits, side effects and other adverse reactions.  This would be prior to buying them off the internet.

Anyone who offers these products for sale, is responsible for providing you a duty of care.  Do they?
