Awake in the wee hours?
As I write this it’s 4.25am….and I’m wide awake. Last night I made the mistake of drinking alkaline water too late into the evening, and as a result, my body is awake, my brain is sharp and not for love nor money, can I sleep.
This is not an uncommon complaint though amongst the alkalizing community…so what to do? Because I have an 80/20 dietary regime, I chose to have a 2 Dr Kargs crackers…the sugars from which are not too harsh, yet may enable digestion to take away the alertness I currently feel…when I should be sleeping.
The other key is to prepare yourself for sleep with your evening meal food choices…which will be discussed in another blog coming up soon!
