When you first start to alkalise, there are many considerations but one burning question is ‘how am I going to drink my greens in a day and get it all in?’
Most people start off on 1.5 – 2 litres of water or greens (powdered or juiced) per day. Then they build up to 3 or 4 litres. It’s not difficult if you are working, you just need to apply some strategy to it. So here is what I do (working from home or in the offiice/out on the road). These are just my personal preference times however, you can modify the times. If you give yourself a 2 hour block to constantly sip, then you are not guzzling nor should feel full. It also allows time for food digestion before you continue drinking.
As you introduce more water into your daily routine, you will need you find to pee more..this is just your body’s way of eliminating excess acid…it wants it out…NOW! Do not despair, the urgency and frequency of peeing will slow right down as your body becomes hydrated, then, you will be able to move about as normal in your day and not have to worry.
2 litres per day
drink one litre betwen 10 and 12pm and one litre between 2 and 5pm
3 litres per day
10am – 12 midday, 2pm – 4pm and then upon home in evening 6pm – 8pm
4 litres per day
6am – 8am, 10am – 12 midday, 2pm – 4pm and 6 – 8
