Meet Scott, ok, we dont have any ‘in person’ photos of Scott but as another avid alkaliser his blood showed up some interesting spine abnormalities. When you read below you will understand why Dr Heidi refers to Scott as a Chiropractors Candy Shop (in the nicest possible way of course).
This is what I saw the first time I took Scott’s blood. Take a close look. Each of these ‘indentations’ or ‘sublaxations (out) is a trauma in the spine, and its old injuries as well as current.
Scott’s symptomology presented as
- weak legs
- continual ‘neck situations’
- lower back pain – even standing at the sink or a table
- pain is debilitating, ‘Im old before my time and Im only 35′
- walking up and down steps manifests as burning and aching
- dull ache in the front of his head – indented skull from being stuck in the birth canal
- even driving for an hour produces hot fire like feelings in his right leg
- laying on the floor and then getting up brings pins and needles in both legs, numbness, for 10 minutes
- stiffness, soreness and restriction of motion in his upper body
….
Before Scott was 20 he had his fair share of accidents – this accumulation lead to giving up sports and other general life enhancing activities simply because, the pain was too great.
To date, Scott has experienced the following:
- Birth trauma
- Broken ankle – age 12
- Neck brace – age 12 – woke up and couldn’t move
- Motorbike accident – foot pedal ended up in his calf – age 18
- Fell off a ladder – age 20
- Car accident – age 20 – no known whiplash at the time
- Back injury left side sustained from working out with weights in the gym – age 24
- Several instances of freezing up and not being able to move, just while completing a simple activity like doing his hair
- Stopped playing footy aged 28 because of the draining feeling in his legs
- His GP said it was his ‘sciatic nerve’
- Bad sleeping habits – falls in front of the tv
…..
Dr Heidi took some xray’s and measurements
- Ears sit forward 2 inches of the shoulders (the head weighing 36lb’s to the neck instead of 12)
- Slouching because his head is forward
- Head kicked over to the right by 8mm
- Neck is rotated off vertical by 2.5 degrees
- Right shoulder is down
- Left side is down by 4 degrees
- Left hip is down by 2 degrees
- Left leg is short by 1/2 inch
…..
Post consultation measurements show
- Ears come back by 1.5 inches
- Shoulder is up by 3.25 degrees
- Hips are now even
- More curve through the spine
- Left leg is long by 1/4 inch (will come back to even within a day)
- Neck has shifted back into place by 3 degrees almost back to zero after the second adjustment
Given the gentle nature of this type of adjustment, Scott said ‘when are we going to start’ not realising that it was already over.
After the adjustment Scott stood naturally in a different posture. Result. I saw Scott recently (June 09) and he definately looks and feels much happier in his body.
