A few things happen in your consultation to know about
First of all, what we do is take a pin prick of blood from the finger and then place it under the microscope. Its like looking at a grain of sand from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
We do two tests, a Live Blood Assessment and a Dried Blood Assessment. The live blood is how your blood is now, running round inside your body. The dried blood is like when you cut your finger and it clots on top and dries. We just capture that on a slide and let it dry there instead.
